Ken had battled with his weight for many years without much success. He had a number of health issues due to being overweight – but it took being diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes that made him finally take action. The soon-to-be grandfather realised he needed to take control of his weight permanently to be able to enjoy all the activities that comes with being a Grandfather.

With the help of LifeShape Clinic, Ken lost 58kg throughout his LifeShape 9 program^, his blood glucose levels have normalised and his diabetes is in remission.

After completing his program in June 2012, he has kept the weight off and is now off all Diabetes medication.

Ken’s new found way of life now sees him travelling with his wife to the most remote parts of Australia, where you don’t always see another person for a week at a time. With the knowledge Ken gained from his nine month program, he now is confident in knowing how to still exercise and eat healthy whilst on the road.

With the ability to be more active and spend time outdoors, Ken is looking forward to being able to be an active part of his grandson’s life and has already begun planning camping and fishing trips for the future.
